We are specialized in condensed matter physics and we work at the interface with soft matter and quantum physics. We aim at deepening our comprehension of the fundamental physics laws at stake in the nanoworld. To this purpose, we carry out different projects in the following fields:
Sensors based on carbon nanotubes
Advanced mechanical oscillators
Optomechanical devices
Carbon nanotube Sensors
We use the exceptional sensing capabilities of carbon nanotube mechanical oscillators to probe their environment
Nanomechanics
We are interested in the fundamental aspects of mechanics at the nanoscale, and in particular the nanomechanics of carbon nanotubes
Optomechanics
We explore the coupling between light and mechanical motion
Fundings
Fundings obtained as a Principal investigator
2019-2021: Momentum funding, with aim to study the confinement of water in carbon nanotubes
2018: CNRS (INP) and L2C funding, to begin the group activity
2017: AAP Emergence (CNRS, INP), to develop a new concept of nanofluidic platform
Fundings obtained as a partner
2019-2022: ANR Ionesco, to study ionic transport in carbon nanotubes
